Take-Two Interactive revealed today that five million copies of Borderlands 2 have been shipped. The exact number sold to consumers has not been unveiled yet but Take-Two states the game is seeing “strong digital sales”. 

“Take-Two’s second quarter revenue and earnings exceeded our outlook, driven by the breakout success of 2K’s Borderlands 2 and robust demand for our catalog and digitally delivered offerings,”quoted from Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.
