Scott Forstall, senior vice president of Apple’s iOS system, will step down in 2013, Apple has revealed. 

Forstall is being replaced by Craig Federighi, who will oversee iOS and OS X. Forstall will serve as CEO Tim Cook’s advisor in the meantime.
