Two Brothers, initially funded by Kickstarter, is now slated for release on Wii U’s eShop in 2013. It will also hit the XBox 360 and all major computer platforms.

The game is inspired by old school action RPGs. Despite paying homage to the Game Boy in its art style, the game itself will contain HD-quality graphics. The story revolves around the quest to bring color to a monochrome world.

Ackkstudios, the team responsible for Two Brothers, says it has a 3D RPG in the works. The developers are strongly considering Wii U as a release platform.
