Earlier today, Microsoft announced a way for gamers to be rewarded for their achievement scores. Called MyAchievements, this new program is offered to Xbox Live Gold Members only and can be broken down into three tiers:

• Contender: 3,000-9,000G
• Champion: 10,000-24,999G
• Legend:25,000+G

Each level will offer a “special gift” during the month of your birthday. The Champion and Legend tiers offer more rewards as well. For gamers in the Champion level, a 1% rebate will be offered for all Xbox LIVE Marketplace purchases every month. The same rules apply to those in the Legend tier except they receive a 2% rebate.
