      • Yaiba is actually Ninja Gaiden Z

        -Marcus Lawrence

Mystery has been shrouding Keiji Inafune’s upcoming zombie title called “Yaiba”. Yaiba consists of zombies, ninjas, mechs and of course…action. Yes people, you read that right and if that didn’t send a chill down your spine, I don’t know what will.

Besides the bare minimum, we didn’t know what to expect from Yaiba…until today! The latest trailer revealed at TGS (Tokyo Game Show) shows Yaiba is actually Ninja Gaiden Z. Now, fans of the Ninja Gaiden series will want to pay close attention to this upcoming title. The trailer offered more insight as to what the deal is concerning Keiji Inafune’s new project.

What’s even more exciting is that Ryu Hayabusa, the ninja hero in the Ninja Gaiden games, may not be who players control. Instead, the game seems to be focusing on the cybernetic ninja known as Yaiba. “I’m coming for you, Ryu.” is what Yaiba proclaims which probably means that when you aren’t hacking away at zombies, you are hot on the trail of Hayabusa.

We’ll keep you update once we know more but look for the new trailer in a few minutes.
