Today 2K games has confirmed that the Mechromancer class will be available for download on October 16th. This new extra class will be free for those of you who pre-ordered the game, and will cost $9.99/800 MSP for the rest of us.

The Mechromancer; named Gaige, is a gadget-savvy mix between human and machine. Her action skill is deploying a giant killer robot named Death Trap. Death Trap can act as a tank, or a support robot, supplying the Mechromancer and her comrades with ammo and supplies.
