For all of you that haven’t played the DLC for Skyrim because you have it on the PS3 may be in luck. Sony is reportedly “working closely” with Bethesda to bring the DLC to the PlayStation 3.

Sony Vice President Adam Boyes recently had an interview with Kotaku to confirm that the development support team is working to fix technical issues with all third party publishers, including Bethesda.

“We work with all of our partners to try and solve their problems,” Boyes told Kotaku. “We have a big, broad dev support team that works closely with Bethesda, and with all of our partners, to work with them to solve that any sort of issues they have along the way. Of course, I always want everything to work always for everyone. I can’t promise any kind of resolution or timeline but can say that everyone involved is trying their best to get this stuff working.”

Even with Sony working together with Bethesda, there still might be some kinks. Previously, Bethesda stated it was “not yet satisfied with Dawnguard’s performance on the PS3”. At one point, Bethesda wasn’t even sure if the problem could be fixed, meaning Dawnguard would not arrive on the PS3.

PS3 owners must be extremely upset considering how Dawnguard is available on the Xbox 360 and PC. Even more so with the recently released Hearthfire DLC arriving on the Xbox 360 little under a week ago.
